Biryani Express has been my absolute go to for the past six years, and I refuse to try any other Indian restaurant in the greater Houston area. Even though I no longer live in Pearland, I gladly drive an hour just to pick up food from here. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. It is genuinely my comfort spot, and I will happily continue to support them for years to come! 😄
My boyfriend and I come here all the time and he’s left his own review too. However, today I had to make a review to show how kind the owners and workers are here. Chef James gave us two free desserts to try, and they were delicious. I order the chicken tikka masala all the time and it always has me leaving with my stomach full. I love Biryani Express so much, please never change!
We celebrated Valentine’s Day here, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. The ambiance was warm, festive, and perfect for a special evening. It was elegant without feeling overly formal, and the service matched the mood beautifully. The Indian Churrasco Night theme was a standout. The variety and quality of the food made the whole experience feel indulgent and thoughtfully curated. Buffet: Salad, Appetizers, Curries, Chicken and Goat Biryani, and Live Omelette Station Premium Churrasco-Style Meats The highlight of the night was the tableside service of premium meats, each one cooked perfectly and seasoned with bold flavors. We enjoyed: Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Murgh, Parmesan Chicken Wings, Lamb Tenderloin, Lamb Chops, Goat Chops, Jumbo Shrimp and Lobster Tail Every item was tender, well-seasoned, and served hot. A great fusion of churrasco-style service with Indian spices. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine’s Day experience with great ambiance, attentive service, and delicious food. If they host another themed night like this, it’s absolutely worth attending. We were also able to meet the chef, who generously took the time to talk about the recipes and share a bit about his background. His passion for food and creativity really came through, and it added a personal, memorable touch to the evening.
